Science and Industry

As of 1.9. I’ve moved to new challenges in Office of the Chief of Technology Officer. I’m positioned into Compability and Industry Collaboration and work with mathematically orianteited students of Päivölä college. Actually, I’ve been in that team most of my Nokia time; summer job in Services and Software was there to give me a change to gain understanding on service side of our company.

This new assignment will include project steering and mentoring, some own research and collaboration with some units inside Nokia. For those who ask it, I don’t consider myself as a manager but more like an older guy giving some hints. Let’s see how my job will be shaped during this time, but this is some of the initial toughts.

I’,m waiting to hear what are the projects I’m allowed to speak of in public; there should be something in that side also — but I still have the Nokia NDA with me. I hope to get some intresting topics up to the discussion here, but let them growth into good enought maturnity first. Is there any topic that you want to hear more?
